Thieme Youth Excellence Award

The award is established in co-operation with Georg Thieme Verlag KG, Germany, which kindly provided the financial support.

Thieme Youth Excellence Award will be given to a graduate student or young scientist (under the age of 35 years) for the best poster presentation at the Symposium. The selection criteria will be the high scientific quality and the potential impact of the research results, as well as the quality of the presentation and discussion. The selection for the award will be made by the invited speakers of the meeting. The award consists of official certificate and a monetary prize of 500 EUR.

All eligible participants that would like to participate in the competition for the award should inform the organizers by e-mail to organic2006@innoslab.com. The message should arrive before December 5^th and should contain the following information: Poster number (according to the list of posters), Name and Date of birth of the participant.

The selection committee of the Symposium granted the Thieme Youth Excellence Award to

Georgi Stavrakov with contribution entitled: “Synthesis of Chiral Bridged Diamino Ferrocenes - Potential Asymmetric Catalysts”

and

Denitsa Yancheva with contribution entitled: “Spectral and Structural Study of Two Carbonyl Substituted Pyridinium-betaines of Squaric Acid”
